Adjacent to Portobello are a number of shops for all your holiday needs, including 7 day convenience store, cafe, takeaway food, bakery, butcher, fruit and vegetables, newsagent and hairdresser.  All shops have a great selection of goods at reasonable prices.  Major supermarkets (Woolworths and Coles) are just a short drive away.

Surf n Spice is a casual BYO family run Indian & Italian restaurant that has newly opened in the area.  Offering very authentic Indian fare, this is definately worth a visit, either dine in or takeaway.
