Many of the apartments have recently been fully refurbished, with new floor coverings, new furniture and window coverings. The new furniture and artwork has been specifically selected and designed for Portobello By The Sea to create a stylish and practical look throughout that emphasises a beachside home away from home, influenced by the natural holiday environment of Dicky Beach.
One Bedroom Apartments
Portobello's one-bedroom apartments feature large sunny balconies or decks, with views overlooking the heated lagoon style swimming pool and tropical gardens. The apartments are spacious and fully self contained, and sleep two people in style and comfort. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with ensuite, made private by an exotic Japanese shohji screen door. There is a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge room for extra guests. Ground floor apartments are available and most upper floor apartments are serviced by a lift.
One Bedroom Deluxe with Spa Apartments
Portobello's Spa apartments are situated on the top floor to ensure privacy for that special occasion. Featuring balconies with views overlooking the pool and gardens, they come complete with timber shutters, and a large corner spa-bath built for two. Perfect for a honeymoon or romantic weekend away!
One Bedroom Apartment with Outdoor Hot-Tub
Situated on the ground floor this apartment has exclusive use of a large outdoor hot tub, screened for privacy, but just steps away from the pool as well.
Two Bedroom Apartments
Listen to the surf and enjoy the views! Most two-bedroom apartments feature a superb northerly aspect, all have large balconies and are bright and colourful. You will be impressed by the size and style. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite, there is a TV and large wardrobes. The second bedroom has two single beds also with a large wardrobe and separate bathroom.
Park view apartments face the foreshore parkland. Ocean view apartments face the beach. (Please note – the two bedroom apartments are not serviced by a lift).
Three Bedroom Apartments
Portobello's fabulous three-bedroom apartments are very spacious, and feature a wonderful open plan design for family beach living. Each apartment features three balconies, two bathrooms, and three double bedrooms.
The huge main bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, extra large robe, and fabulous ensuite with a large corner spa bath. There is a queen bed in the second bedroom and two single beds in the third bedroom. The second and third bedrooms have a separate bathroom.
Three bedroom apartments are serviced by a lift.
Disabled Facilities
Portobello has a specially equipped one bedroom apartment for the physically disabled, on the ground floor, and serviced by lift from the carpark. It boasts an oversized deck out to the pool with outdoor furniture and large market umbrella to enjoy outdoor living and sea breezes. The apartment has all the standard disabled fittings in the bathroom and toilet.
A two bedroom apartment is fitted for hearing impaired guests, with video door security and specialised communication facilities. Hearing / guide dogs are welcome.
